How Tournaments Work

All of our games are powered by the Skillz tournament platform. Here's how it works:

You enter a tournament — either free or with a cash entry fee. Skillz matches you with a real opponent at a similar skill level. You both play the same game under the same conditions. The player with the higher score wins the prize pool.

Skillz uses advanced algorithms to ensure fair matchmaking and monitors all games to detect and prevent cheating. Every tournament is a true test of skill.
